Epaminondas Kalinderis – Technical Manager, A Naval Architect, Mechanical & Marine Engineer of academic background, with a MSc degree in Ships Design and Diploma in Ship Management. Highly experienced in the field of ship management operations. Strong technical and business qualifications, with a 25 years track record of assignment as Fleet Manager, Group Engineer and Technical Superintendent of various vessel types in well‐known shipping companies.
Captain Panagiotis Bitsakis
Capt Panagiotis Bitsakis – Head of Crew, handling the International crew along with the affiliated manning agencies abroad. Holds a Captain Class A Certificate with an extensive seagoing experience as a Master on Oil and Chemical tankers. Highly experienced in the field of crewing operations working with multiple nationalities and different types of ships. Strong crew,marine and business qualifications, with a 26 years track record of assignment in the Maritime Industry including seagoing and shore side positions.
Christos Dimitriadis
Christos is a Merchant Marine Academy graduate, holds a Chief Engineer License, and an MBA in Shipping from ALBA Graduate Business School. He began his career at sea in 1993, serving on product and crude oil tankers up to the rank of Chief Engineer before moving ashore, where he gained extensive experience in shipping management. He joined Optimum at its establishment in 2014 as a Senior Technical Superintendent and was promoted to Fleet Manager in 2015. He later served in various leadership roles, including Deputy and Technical Manager since 2018, before being appointed Fleet Director in May 2024. With over 17 years of shore-based experience, Christos has developed strong technical and business qualifications and a proven track record in fleet management across a wide range of vessel types, including tankers, asphalt carriers, bulk carriers, and LPGs.
Captain Stratos Zeimpekis
holds a Captain Class A license with extensive seagoing experience, including four years as Master. He began his shore-based career with OSG in 2008 as Marine Superintendent. He joined Optimum in 2014 as Senior Marine Superintendent, was promoted to Fleet Manager in 2015, and has since held successive leadership roles: Deputy Marine Manager in 2018, Marine Manager in 2020, Fleet Director in 2024, and was appointed Head of HSQ & Marine in 2025.
