We are thrilled to share that on November 25, 2025, our team had the privilege of visiting the ARCHELON Sea Turtle Rescue Centre in Glyfada, Athens. During the guided tour, we learned how injured and sick sea turtles from across Greece are rescued, treated, and rehabilitated, as well as the serious threats they face — from plastic pollution and entanglement in fishing gear to boat strikes and other human-related hazards.

Seeing firsthand how ARCHELON operates was both inspiring and eye-opening. Founded in 1994, the Rescue Centre has become one of the most significant turtle-rehabilitation facilities in the Mediterranean, caring for dozens of turtles each year and giving many a second chance at life.

Experiencing the dedication and care of the ARCHELON team reinforced our commitment to protecting marine life and promoting environmental awareness. It was a powerful reminder of how collective action and responsible stewardship can make a real difference for the planet’s fragile ecosystems.
