Optimum donated a package of older versions of office equipment (a printer, two laptops, two mice and one set of desktop speakers) to a Day Care Center for Elderly.

Our IT Infrastructure Solution Architect, Mr. Balbakakis, took some personal time during his vacation leave to visit the Day Care in Garipa Crete and set up everything for smooth operation.  Donating used equipment of no use to someone can be seen as a great act of philanthropy with several positive impacts. In this case not only it will improve the quality of life of some elderly residents, combating feelings of loneliness and isolation, but will also contribute on the emotional and overall well being of the broader small village.
